A Call to the Remnant, the Restrainer, the Body of Christ

And you know what is now restraining him, so that he will be revealed at the proper time, For the secret power of lawlessness is already at work; but the one who now holds it back will continue to do so till he is taken out of the way 2 Thessalonians 2:6-7

Our Country is in Turmoil, Many have taken to the Streets in Protest, The Spirit of Division is running Rampant it is time for a call to the Great Restrainer The Body of Christ.

Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots  Luke 23:34

Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace  Romans 11:5

What is the Remnant and Who is the Restrainer?

Most of the Time a Remnant is considered to be a left-over piece from a larger portion and can be considered as scraps. The most blessed remnant is that of the true Body of Christ, chosen out of the millions who walk the Earth. Jesus made it clear that this remnant would be small.  God assigned high value to those people who he had set aside for this purpose.  We who believe in Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior can, with great peace, rest in the fact that we belong to the “remnant.” Many will find the way to eternal destruction, but few will find the way to eternal life   Matthew 7:13-14

The Holy Spirit is the only force sufficient enough to do the restraining. This happens through the Remnant, the Body of Christ, through us and our Prayers. Ephesians 6:18 – Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints  At some point, Evil will seem to grow stronger allowing sin to have dominion over mankind. This will happen as Christians grow to become Lukewarm holding onto false teachings and false prophets. We need to be vigilant, sober and careful not to be deceived.

THE TIME IS AT HAND, WE ARE TO PRAY AS WE NEVER HAVE BEFORE, WE ARE TO WAKE UP AND PRAY AGAINST THE PROTEST AND PRAY FOR A GREAT REVIVAL THAT WILL SWEEP ACROSS THIS NATION, WE ARE TO PRAY THAT GOD KEEPS HIS VEIL OF PROTECTION ON THE UNITED STATES, WE ARE TO PRAY FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE BODY OF CHRIST, WE ARE TO PRAY FOR UNITY, WE ARE TO PRAY TO KEEP ALL PLOTS OF THE DEVIL AT BAY AND TO RESTRAIN IT FOR A BIT LONGER WHILE WE WAIT ON THE RETURN OF OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST!

DISCERNMENT OF THE TIMES

Discernment-The ability to judge well or perception in the absence of judgment with a view to obtaining spiritual direction and understanding

Let’s face it some weird things are happening on this planet and most people are clueless on current events or just don’t care, Especially in the Body of Christ.  Today’s church is so Blinded and Luke Warm over half of the so called Christians have no clue about the times we are in. They are so consumed with Love, Peace and spreading Happiness they forget that we are to be alert and aware of what truly is around us. I often tell people that Jesus is returning soon and the signs are every where. You would not believe how many times I get told I am a crazy or that I am spreading unnecessary fear, and this is coming from individuals who claim to be followers of Christ.   It is time to sound the Trumpets and Awaken before it is to late. The Word of God clearly tells us if we have the Gift of Discernment or if we are Watchman and we sit by idly and not warn others we will not only answer for our mistakes but theirs as well.

“But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman’s hand.” Ezekiel 33:6

The Tribe of Issachar were the first Watchman and although their numbers were low they were considered to be very Knowledgeable and one of the most respected tribes. All of this because they were able to Discern the times and were responsible of warning Israel.

“And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment” 1 Chronicles 12:32

It is time to realize we are in the End Times and Jesus is on his way. Our jobs are to be vigilant and to warn others.  We are the only generation to have all the signs fulfilled, and never before  has anyone seen so many events take place in their lifetimes. My next few blogs will address End Times, Signs and the Beginning of Sorrows and hopefully this serves as a Wake up Call for the Body of Christ.
